The Académie Internationale de la Gastronomie has delivered its prizes


IOn the 16th of December, the elegant halls of the Hotel Principe di Savoia in Milan hosted the award ceremony for the AIG’s International Prize and National Prizes. The home side was represented by Paolo Petroni, who greeted the numerous journalists and guests in his dual role as President of the Academy and Vice-President of the Académie Internationale de la Gastronomie.
Paolo Petroni delivered to Antonia Klugmann the prestigious Grand Prix de l’Art de la Cuisine (Grand Prize for Culinary Art) 2021, intended for major artists of contemporary cuisine. Antonia Klugmann is the owner-chef of the restaurant L’Argine a Vencò in Dolegna del Collio (Gorizia).
The National Prizes for 2020 and 2021 were delivered on the same occasion.

Prix au Chef de l’Avenir (Chef of the Future Prize) 2021:
Paolo Griffa, chef at Petit Royal,
within the Grand Hotel Royal & Golf in Courmayeur (Aosta);

Prix au Chef pâtissier (Pastry Chef Prize) 2020:
Pierluigi Portinari, of La Peca, Lonigo (Vicenza);

Prix au Chef pâtissier 2021:
Federico Anzellotti, master pastry chef and chocolatier
(Miglianico, Chieti);

Prix au Sommelier 2020:
Pascal Tinari, of the restaurant Villa Maiella,
Guardiagrele (Chieti);

Prix au Sommelier 2021:
Ilario Perrot, of the restaurant L’Alchimia, Milan;

Prix de la Littérature Gastronomique (Food Literature Prize) 2020:
Eleonora Cozzella, journalist and cookery book author;

Prix Multimedia 2020:
Fiammetta Fadda, journalist and food and wine critic;

Prix Multimedia 2021:
Maddalena Fossati Dondero, journalist
and director of La Cucina Italiana.
