Modyfing our food system by reducing consumption of the meat we crave is rather like severing the roots connecting us to our past and our history. It would seem difficult to implement and incompatible with human nature. Yet this is the challenge proposed in a 2019 study by the World Economic Forum (WEF) analysed by Singapore-Malaysia-Indonesia Academician Maurizia Debiaggi, in the September issue of "Civiltà della Tavola".
