Despite the hardships of the pandemic, agrifood exports have increased by 1.4%, while overall exports have plunged by 10.8%. Germany leads this inrease in demand (+5.5%), followed by the USA (+5.2%), notwithstanding the tariffs on our main exports.
Even domestically, food production has declined by only 2.5%, compared with an overall 11.4% drop in other production activity.
