The annual theme for 2024 was chosen during the most recent work meeting of the Franco Marenghi Study Centre.
The selected theme was chosen over other suggestions because it addresses an important subject and continues in the spirit of the theme for 2023, dedicated to grains: “Beans, chickpeas and other legumes (peas, green beans, fava beans and lentils) in regional culinary traditions” is the theme for 2024, informing next year’s Food Culture Library volume and the next ecumenical convivial gathering to be held on 17 October 2024.
