The General Assembly of the Académie Internationale de la Gastronomie, meeting in Paris, has assigned its National Prizes for 2026, proposed by President Paolo Petroni, a member of the prestigious international institution’s Administrative Council.
The prizes have been awarded as follows:
Prix au Chef de l’Avenir (Chef of the Future):
Simone Finetti; restaurant Villa Albertina, Argenta (Ferrara);
Prix au Sommelier (Sommelier Prize):
Giampiero Cordero; restaurant Centro, Priocca (Cuneo);
Prix au Chef Pâtissier (Pastry Chef Prize):
Mattia Casabianca, Senigallia (Ancona);
Prix de la Littérature Gastronomique (Food Literature Prize):
Marilù Oliva for Atlante goloso del mito (A Delicious Atlas of Myths), published by Mondadori Electa;
Prix Multimedia (Multimedia Prize):
Marino Niola, anthropologist, journalist and science writer.
